Community Member Volunteer

Volunteers supply baked goods or assist customers with their purchases. Bake sales are typically held three times per year: Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and during our Christmas Right Here fundraiser. Proceeds from the bake sales are used to support hospital projects and equipment.

Volunteers assist with the sign-in table or refreshments. Blood drives are typically held 2-3 times per year.

This fundraiser offers a wide variety of items including a diverse selection of books, cards, inspiration items, home décor, and music at bargain prices.

Proceeds from the sales are used to support Partners of Crossing Rivers Health scholarships awarded to area high school graduates, Baby’s First Books, hospital projects, and equipment.

Volunteers in this role pleasantly and cheerfully greet incoming patients, visitors, and staff; introduce themselves as volunteers; and assist customers with their purchases.

This family-oriented fundraiser encourages children and families to come into our medical facility in a fun and festive atmosphere.
