Here at Crossing Rivers Health, I provide all aspects of orthopedic care. During my fellowship with Detroit Medical Center Sports Medicine, I served as an assistant team physician for the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and the Detroit Pistons. I have also cared for athletes from the Janesville Jets, a North American Hockey League, and various high school teams.
When working with patients, my goal is to help them understand their condition and treatment, so we can work together to make informed decisions based on their lifestyle and personal goals. I want to make sure my patients are actively involved in their care. I deeply care about my patients and will do everything I can to improve their quality of life.
I only resort to surgery when non-operative treatment options have not provided adequate relief or quality of life. If surgery is determined as the best option, our team is proud to offer the latest surgical advancements combined with exceptional patient care. Using advanced surgical technology, we have the ability to use computer-assisted navigation during joint replacement procedures that allows us to align a bone perfectly with a joint implant for unparalleled precision and accuracy. Another option we can explore is creating patient-specific surgical implants that allow us to create a replacement that is designed specifically for that patient using a CT scan to build custom components. In addition to these incredible technologies, we are proud to offer minimally-invasive procedures whenever possible, which means they are performed through tiny incisions that allow for quicker recovery time and less pain than traditional surgery.
I was born and raised in the Midwest and am excited to bring my knowledge and experience here to the great team at Crossing Rivers Health. I’m looking forward to meeting the residents of this region and providing exceptional orthopedic care.
On a personal note, I am married with two boys and two Great Danes. I enjoy spending time with family, sports, especially football and baseball, and outdoor activities.
