Athletic trainers are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians working toward the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergency, acute and chronic medical conditions and injuries.
Mark Seeley and Penny Grassel bring more than 40 years of professional experience and expertise to Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center and the surrounding communities. They have experience working with patients and athletes in hospitals, sports medicine clinics, colleges, universities and high schools.
Our athletic trainers provide outpatient evaluation and rehabilitation to physically active patients in our rehabilitation services department.
We provide athletic training services to Prairie du Chien, River Ridge, Boscobel and Wauzeka high schools. These services include scheduled visits to the schools and athletic event coverage.
Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center has partnered with the school districts to provide neurocognitive assessments using ImPACT concussion management program.
