Pelvic Floor Therapy
If you experience pelvic pain, constipation, incontinence, or organ prolapse, you may want to ask your provider if pelvic floor therapy is right for you.
A specially trained physical therapist can help your symptoms through strengthening, stretching, bladder retraining, diet and lifestyle changes.
After meeting the physical therapist for a series of sessions, a custom plan will be developed consisting of educational material and home exercises.
The primary goal of physical therapy is exercise and movement. These unique therapies may be used in conjunction with other treatments to create a comprehensive plan customized for you. To determine if therapy would be an option, talk with your primary care provider or contact Crossing Rivers Health Rehabilitation and Therapy.
