Registration now open for Crossing Rivers Health Foundation’s Golf Classic

Crossing Rivers Health Foundation announces the 9th Annual Golf Classic to be held on Wednesday, September 16 at the Prairie du Chien Country Club.
The Foundation’s Golf Classic offers a fun way for golfers and non-golfers alike to support their local community hospital and invest in cancer care close to home. Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will help to purchase equipment and patient comfort items needed for the expansion and enhancement of Oncology services at Crossing Rivers Health.
In continued collaboration, Crossing Rivers Health and Gundersen Health System are planning the relocation of Oncology services from the Gundersen Prairie du Chien Clinic to the Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center. The relocation and expansion of this service, planned to take place this July, will require the hospital to purchase new equipment and patient comfort items. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help offset some of that cost, reducing the burden on the hospital’s finances.
“Quality Oncology care close to home is very important to us, and we know it’s important to our community members as well. We would greatly appreciate the community’s partnership in this investment,” said Sasha Dull, Director of the Crossing Rivers Health Foundation. “Each of our event sponsors and participants are ultimately making an investment in the health and wellness of this region- and they’ll have fun doing it,” Dull added.
Registration and lunch begins at 11 a.m. There will be a silent auction, contests, and activities on the course. The tournament is flighted, with prizes awarded for first, middle and last place teams. The Golf Classic is also a best ball, or scramble, format making it an enjoyable event for golfers at all levels of skill.
