43rd Annual Run/Walk in Prairie du Chien set for Saturday, July 20
“Mark your calendar! Prairie du Chien’s 43nd Annual 5-Mile Run/3-Mile Walk will be held on Saturday, July 20,” announces Mike Ulrich, Director, Prairie du Chien Park and Recreation Department. “Runners, walkers, and their families are invited to gather at the Aquatic Park, 1401 East Wells Street, in Prairie du Chien before the event starts at 8:00 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the 1st place runner in each male and female category of the 5-Mile Run.”
Sasha Dull, Chief Development Officer, at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital adds, “A healthy lifestyle plays an important role in preventing illness. The Hospital joins the Park and Recreation Department to sponsor this community event each year to provide community members with a fun, healthy activity for all ages.”
The registration fee of $10 includes an event t-shirt and refreshments after the event. Registration forms are available online at http://pdcrecdesk.com/recdeskportal, at Prairie du Chien City Hall, Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. To ensure a t-shirt in their size, participants must pre-register by noon on July 13th. Registrations are also accepted at 7:00 a.m. prior to the Run/Walk. Interstate EMS is providing on-site rescue personnel. All proceeds will be used for Hoffman Hall improvements.
