A meaningful way to honor a loved one
Partners of Crossing Rivers Health invite you to honor a special person in your life through their program, A Light for all Seasons. The honor may be as a memorial; as a special gift for the person who has everything; as a unique way to honor your children, parents or grandparents; as an expression of appreciation; or to commemorate a particular birthday or anniversary.
The fundraiser began in 2001 as a way to remember someone special. For a minimum donation of $25, your loved one will be featured on the monitor screen in the main entrance of Crossing Rivers Health, a keepsake card mailed to a person of choice informing them of the recognition, announcement on several local radio stations, and with notification in the local newspaper.
Participation in A Light for all Seasons is also a meaningful way to contribute to the health and quality of life in our community. Your donation is tax deductible and helps Partners continue their endeavor of funding numerous hospital projects. For more information on this program, please contact Iva Mulhern, Project Coordinator, at 608-326-9062 or ijmulhern@mchsi.com. Inquiries may also be addressed to Shawna Atterbury, Volunteer Services Coordinator, Crossing Rivers Health, 37868 US Hwy 18, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821. Those remembering a loved one through the program are reminded to include a photo of the honoree and specify the month of choice. Arrangements may also be made to email honoree photos.
Shawna Atterbury commented, “We have an impressive team of volunteers supporting our mission at Crossing Rivers Health. They make a difference in the lives of our patients, families, visitors and staff every day. Volunteers greet and direct patients and visitors, staff the gift shop, provide office support and serve as advocates for our hospital, as well as for patients and their families. We invite individuals to consider volunteering- give me a call at 608-357-2621 or access our website crossingrivers.org. Volunteering at Crossing Rivers Health can be a learning experience, rewarding and fun. ”
