Prairie du Chien, WI – Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff and Partners of Crossing Rivers Health are proud to support the next generation of medical professionals through scholarship opportunities available to graduating seniors.
The Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating high school senior from one of the following school districts: Prairie du Chien, MFL MarMac, River Ridge, Seneca, or Wauzeka-Steuben. Qualified applicants who are entering an accredited college or university and planning to become a healthcare professional must demonstrate excellence in the following selection criteria: Academic achievement, accomplishments, and community service. For the year 2021, the Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff will be awarding one $1,500 scholarship. Qualified applicants must attend an accredited college or university with the intent to become a healthcare professional, demonstrating excellence in academic achievement, accomplishments, and community service. Application and supporting materials must be received no later than Thursday, April 1, 2021. The Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff is a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who have been granted privileges to provide care to patients at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. The Medical Staff represent a number of healthcare partners providing care to the Prairie du Chien area, including Crossing Rivers Health, Mayo Clinic Health System, and Gundersen Health System.
The Partners of Crossing Rivers Health Scholarship provides financial assistance to an area high school graduate interested in attending a post-high school program in the healthcare field. In the spring of 2021, Partners of Crossing Rivers Health will be awarding four $1,000.00 health care scholarships to graduating seniors of MFL Mar-Mac, Wauzeka-Steuben, Seneca, North Crawford, River Ridge, or Prairie du Chien High Schools. Graduating seniors of Crossing Rivers Health employees are also eligible. The deadline for application documents is March 15, 2021.
