Crossing Rivers Health Clinic in Fennimore now offers Behavioral Health
We are proud to announce that Crossing Rivers Health has expanded Behavior Health Services to our clinic in Fennimore,” announces Dr. Steven Bush, Chief Medical Officer at Crossing Rivers Health. “An individual’s health includes their emotional health as well as their physical health. Too many people- children, adolescents and adults- are coping with a mental health problem, and these individuals and their families need help and support.”
“Last November, Crossing Rivers Health opened the Center for Behavioral Health in Prairie du Chien to ensure community members have access to compassionate, high quality behavioral health care,” said Dr. Bush. “Behavioral and mental health is also a need that the communities we serve identified as needing more available resources. By offering behavioral health services at the Fennimore Clinic, we will be helping even more people have easier access to mental health services so that they may lead healthier, more productive lives.”
The Behavioral Health team at Crossing Rivers Health includes a psychiatrist, social worker and counselor who provide confidential one-on-one counseling, couples therapy, family therapy and group therapy as well as medication management. The team has experience treating a variety of conditions and issues, including: ADHD, disruptive, impulse control and conduct disorders; depressive disorders; other mood disorders like bipolar I and II; anxiety disorders; adjustment related, trauma and stressor induced disorders (e.g. PTSD); personality disorders; life transition difficulties; grief/loss and psychosis.
Dr. Bush added, “If you, or someone you know, are struggling with depression, anxiety or other emotional issues, there is always someone to turn to.”
