Crossing Rivers Health Clinic Welcomes Kenneth Valyo, DO
Fennimore and Prairie du Chien, WI - Crossing Rivers Health Clinic announces the addition of Kenneth Valyo, Board-certified Doctor of Osteopathic Family Medicine, to the team of clinic providers. Dr. Valyo is accepting patients at both clinic locations in Fennimore and Prairie du Chien.
Dr. Valyo is passionate about listening to the needs of his patients.
“My patients value that I take the time to listen to their concerns and provide recommendations regarding their diagnosis and treatment,” Dr. Valyo shared. “I believe the most important part of patient interaction is listening and talking with my patients.”
According to the American Osteopathic Association, doctors of osteopathic medicine regard the body as an integrated whole, rather than treating for specific symptoms only. Dr. Valyo focuses on all aspects of family medicine from wellness, early detection and prevention. He also offers osteopathic manipulative therapy - a technique used to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury where the patient’s muscles and joints are moved using stretching, gentle pressure, and resistance. Osteopathic manipulative therapy can be used to ease pain, promote healing, and increase overall mobility.
Dr. Valyo received a Bachelor of Neuroscience Degree from Brown University, along with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

On a personal note, Dr. Valyo enjoys coin collecting and photography. He and his wife, Sue, have been married for 33 years and have three children - Madeleine, Jared, and Brendan.
