Crossing Rivers Health Expanding Urgent Care Hours
Prairie du Chien, WI – Beginning January 1, 2019, Crossing Rivers Health will be expanding Urgent Care hours to 8 a.m. through 8 p.m., 7 days a week. The expansion of Urgent Care will provide patients with additional access for urgent, minor medical concerns that can’t wait for your primary care provider.
“We are pleased to share that the familiar faces of Holly Griswold, Nurse Practitioner, and Jeanne Tobin, Physician Assistant, will be amongst the team providing their expertise in Urgent Care,” shared Bill Sexton, Chief Executive Officer at Crossing Rivers Health. “Holly will transition her practice focus from the Crossing Rivers Health primary care clinics to Urgent Care. She is looking forward to this transition and ensures her patients that they continue to be in good hands. Jeanne has been providing care in the urgent care clinic and is taking a larger role in the expansion. We thank the both of them for their efforts in continuing to meet the needs of our community members.”
Urgent Care is available to treat minor medical issues, such as sore throats, the flu, ear aches, and minor injuries including strains and sprains.
“Urgent care can be used for non-life threatening illnesses that required immediate care. Upon examination, the appropriate level of care is ultimately determined by your healthcare professional,” explained Dr. John Renelt, Emergency Medicine Physician and Medical Chief of Staff at Crossing Rivers Health.
“At Crossing Rivers Health, our highest priority is your lifetime of wellness. Crossing Rivers Health is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. Our priority is to listen to our patients, our community members, and our providers. They’ve identified a need, and our answer is expanded access to care,” added Sexton.
