Crossing Rivers Health Hospice Named a 2021 Hospice Honors Recipient

Prairie du Chien, WI – Crossing Rivers Health Hospice has been named a 2021 Hospice Honors recipient by HEALTHCAREfirst, a provider of billing and coding services, consumer surveys, and analytics for healthcare providers. The recognition program recognizes hospices providing the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.

Crossing Rivers Health Hospice Director Laura Lane says, “The quality award means that families can see we are doing a great job at providing quality care and meeting the needs of their loved ones at a very difficult time in their lives.” Hospice works within the community to help provide spiritual guidance and social support to patients and families. “We want to make sure that their end of life experience is as unique as they are and we do that by individualizing each patient’s care plan,” says Lane.
Award criteria were based on survey results evaluating performance on a set of 24 quality indicator measures. Hospice Honors recipients include those hospices scoring above the National Performance Score on 20 of the evaluated questions.
