Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff Awards Scholarships
Prairie du Chien, WI - “We believe in the next generation of medical professionals and are proud to make available the Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff Scholarship as an investment in the future of healthcare,” said Dr. Carrie Kramer, MD, Medical Chief of Staff at Crossing Rivers Health.
The Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff Scholarship was established in 2019 and is an annual opportunity available to graduating high school seniors in the following school districts: Prairie du Chien, MFL Mar Mac, River Ridge, Seneca, and Wauzeka-Steuben.
Qualified applicants must attend an accredited college or university with the intent to become a healthcare professional, demonstrating excellence in academic achievement, accomplishments, and community service.
This year, three recipients were chosen among 15 applicants.
$1500 - Faith Schier, River Ridge High School, Clarke University, Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program
$750 - Jacob Reichmann, Wauzeka-Steuben High School, UW Madison, Biology/Pre-Med
$750 - Gabrielle Toberman, Prairie du Chien High School, UW-LaCrosse, Nurse Anesthetist
The Crossing Rivers Health Medical Staff is a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who have been granted privileges to provide care to patients at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. The Medical Staff represent a number of healthcare partners providing care to the Prairie du Chien area, including Crossing Rivers Health, Mayo Clinic Health System, and Gundersen Health System.
