Crossing Rivers Health Offers Basic and Advanced Life Support Classes
Prairie du Chien, WI – Crossing Rivers Health has a variety of basic and advanced life support classes available throughout the year to the general public and healthcare professionals.
Family & Friends Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an American Heart Association CPR course for people who want to learn CPR, but do not need a course completion card to meet a job requirement. It is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life. The next Family & Friends CPR class takes place on April 19 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
Crossing Rivers Health offers Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) classes each month for healthcare providers who work in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare facility including a dentist office, skilled nursing, or assisted living facility. Upcoming dates include April 3 at 7:30 am – 11:00 am, May 1 from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm, and June 5 from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Recertification is an advanced course for individuals who have previously been certified in ACLS and are in need of recertification. The next recertification class will take place April 18 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. An initial two day ACLS Certification class will be held April 29 and 30 from 8:00 am – 3:30 both days for individuals who are in need of initial certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Recertification – one day class for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. This class is for individuals who have been previously certified and are in need of recertification. The next course date is May 16 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
