Crossing Rivers Health offers free eight-week class: Health, Mind & Body Wellness Connection

“The lifestyle choices you make every day can make a world of difference to your long-term health. With the right nutrition and support, you can achieve your goals,” explains Shelby Moose, Registered Dietitian at Crossing Rivers Health. “We are pleased to offer area individuals an easy way to get the inspiration, motivation and information they need to pave the way to better health. A free eight-week series of educational classes, Health, Mind & Body Wellness Connection, will provide tips on nutrition, exercise, and rest and relaxation.”
In addition to tips and education, class participants will also enjoy a live cooking demonstration. Various Crossing Rivers Health professionals will address ways to improve health so that participants will have ideas to help them track and achieve their wellness goals.
For convenience, two sessions are being offered: Monday evenings from 5 – 6 p.m., February 29 through April 18; and Tuesday afternoons from 2 – 3 p.m., March 1 through April 19. The meeting series will be held on the second floor of Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center, 37868 US Hwy 18, Prairie du Chien. Participants will find easy access to the conference room by entering the facility through the north entrance and taking the stairs or elevator to the second floor; the conference room is located just a few steps down the hall.
