Among their more than 600 clients, leaders from The Studer Group select one hospital or system each month to receive the Healthcare Organization of the Month Award. Studer Group honors an organization that stands out from its peers and serves as a premier example of what is right in healthcare. The award is based on real achievements in creating a new culture of excellence.

“Crossing Rivers Health was selected for the award during the month of October, as a result of achieved and sustained HCAHPS (patients’ perspectives’ of care) scores,” said Clay Linkous, Leadership Coach at The Studer Group. The Studer Group is a Health Care consulting firm that has a large base in the United States and is also in Canada, Australia, and South East Asia. The Studer Group partners with healthcare and other organizations to build a sustainable culture that promotes accountability, fosters innovation, and consistently delivers a great patient experience and the best quality outcomes over time.

Bill Sexton, Chief Executive Officer at Crossing Rivers Health, shared, “Crossing Rivers Health is proud to be selected for this distinguished honor. Our patients’ perspectives are so important to us, as is this recognition by The Studer Group. We appreciate this honor and we will continue to improve and forge ahead on this journey of excellence.”

According to The Studer Group, each recipient of this award is considered a Fire Starter hospital- which is one that keeps the true essence of the organization alive and thriving. Fire Starters ignite the flame of service and caring for others that guides and supports the organization and results in measurable, positive outcomes.
