Crossing Rivers Health Sing Carols to Local Residents

Prairie du Chien, WI –Crossing Rivers Health and its employees are passionate about supporting local communities. The organization places priority on project areas of health and wellness, safety, prevention, and community betterment. Members of the Crossing Rivers Health Hospice department and family members enjoyed a recent visit to Prairie Mason Nursing Home and Bluff Haven Assisted Living, where they sang Christmas carols to the residents.

Crossing Rivers Health Hospice is a philosophy of care whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families faced with a terminal illness. Hospice is provided in a variety of settings including private homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and for short-term purposes, at area hospitals. Specially trained registered nurses are available 24/7. Bereavement support continues for families for up to 13 months after the passing of their loved one.

The Crossing Rivers Health Hospice team works closely with patients and families to identify personal goals and are dedicated to helping achieve them. The Hospice team consists of an attending physician, registered nurses, a hospice medical director, social workers, spiritual caregivers, hospice homecare aides, and trained volunteers. Crossing Rivers Health Hospice program serves the southwest Wisconsin communities throughout Crawford County, along with portions of Grant, Vernon, and Richland counties in Wisconsin, as well as portions of northeast Iowa, including Clayton and Allamakee counties.
