Kruger Recipient of Foundation's Rademacher Memorial Scholarship for Clinical Excellence

Katy Kruger, BSN, RN, CNOR, CWON works in the Surgical Services and Center for Specialty Care departments at Crossing Rivers Health. Kruger recently received designation as a Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse. She is also the most recent recipient of the Dr. Roger C. Rademacher Memorial Scholarship for Clinical Excellence.
Katy has worked at Crossing Rivers Health for 17 years and shared, "I have developed a deep passion for this [wound/ostomy] patient population, and I look forward to collaborating with other specialties and facilities to ensure that every patient gets the best care possible, every time."
This scholarship was established to honor the life of Dr. Roger Rademacher in recognition of his dedicated service to area communities and his passion for rural medicine and rural healthcare. Dr. Rademacher was a valued member of the active medical staff. Through his 26 years of practice in Prairie du Chien, Dr. Rademacher leaves an outstanding legacy of integrity, trust, and compassion.
This memorial scholarship is provided to selected Crossing Rivers Health employees, who work to advance their clinical skills by pursuing certification or further education.
