Free program on ‘Coping with Lung Disease’
Partners of Crossing Rivers Health are proud to sponsor a community health education event on “Coping with Lung Disease,” on Wednesday, August 30, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Many individuals are affected by various lung diseases from asthma to COPD. At the education event, you can learn about various lung diseases and how to cope with them from Crossing Rivers Health clinical experts. Local residents, Patti Bailey and Terri Leffler, will share their personal stories on the impact lung disease has made on their lives.
The clinical professionals presenting information include Sue McMillan, Clinic Provider-Overview of Various Lung Diseases; Sheila Schuety, Respiratory Therapist- Lung Disease Medications; Pat Stovey, Clinical Exercise Specialist- Exercising with a Lung Disease; and Becky Miller, Clinical Mental Health Therapist- Stress and Anxiety that can occur with a Lung Disease Diagnosis.
