Prairie du Chien, WI- October 17, 2014- The Great River Care Center, located in McGregor, Iowa, recently made a generous gift to the Crossing Rivers Health Foundation’s capital campaign. Great River Care Center’s $10,000 gift will help to build a new state-of the art medical center in Prairie du Chien, which will serve the people of Southwest Wisconsin and Northeast Iowa.

Deanna Kahler, Administrator at Great River Care Center said, “Our organization is a non-profit dedicated to the people of our rural communities.” Great River Care Center has been serving the community for 40 years and is committed to ensuring access to excellent health care. This commitment is demonstrated through the exceptional care Great River provides to their residents, as well as through the investment they make in their employees who choose to continue their education in a health-related field, by providing tuition assistance. “We are proud to contribute toward the health and wellness of our region through a gift to this project,” Kahler added.

Sasha Dull, Foundation Director said, “We are honored to have the support of our friends at Great River Care Center for the new medical center project. Gifts like this are so meaningful as they affirm the fact that, regardless of community and state borders, strong partnerships form around the shared vision for excellent health care for generations to come.”

Many area individuals and corporations have stepped forth to support the new medical center project, slated for completion in the spring of 2015. Naming and recognition opportunities are still available. To-date, the campaign has raised over $1.2 million in capital gifts and pledges.
