Danielle and Josh Snyder of Prairie du Chien rang in the New Year looking forward to the arrival of their first child due in just a few days. Their excitement grew when the big day arrived on January 5th, and their beautiful newborn daughter was the first baby of the year at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien.

The Snyder’s named their daughter Kinsley Olivia. She tipped the scales at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and she was 19 inches long. The delivering physician was Dr. Robert Key with Mayo Clinic Health System, Prairie du Chien.

Kinsley’s grandparents have already enjoyed the benefits of easy communication through emailing and texting as they live in Michigan and Illinois.

Chris Schroeder, RN, Obstetrical Services Director, said, “We sincerely appreciate area businesses honoring the first baby born each year at Crossing Rivers Health. Having a baby is one of the most memorable moments in the life of a family. Together with physicians, our staff at Crossing Rivers Health combines comfort with all of the medical expertise and technology needed for every aspect of maternity care.”
