Mighty Machines gives big thrills

Hospital news | Thursday, May 16, 2013

Over 1,000 children and family members enjoyed exploring a variety of vehicles at Mighty Machines held Saturday, May 11, in Prairie du Chien. The unique fundraiser for Family Resource Center included fire trucks, emergency medical helicopters, tow truck, logging truck, patrol cars, tractors, race cars, school bus and charter bus, ambulances, semi, street sweeper, and numerous other vehicles to explore. "We sincerely appreciate those businesses and volunteers that generously supported this event to give children the thrill of a close-up look at these machines." states Tonya Millard, Director at Family Resource Center. "The proceeds will be used to help fund parenting education and resources." Family Resource Center is a program of Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.
