Prairie du Chien – Partners of Crossing Rivers Health are bringing together the sweet and savory tastes of grilled cuisine and the benefits of helping others and making a difference through volunteering into one afternoon for a Grilling Demo & Membership Drive. Crossing Rivers Health’s Chef Randy will demonstrate various grilling techniques, offer tips on grilling safety, and discuss basic wine pairing. Guests will have the opportunity to sample items such as ribeye steak, pork loin, chicken breast, swordfish, and grilled asparagus wrapped in bacon, along with light appetizers and beverages.
“We’re thrilled to invite community members to this free event to meet Partners members and enjoy delicious items prepared by our very own Chef Randy,” expressed Shawna Atterbury, Volunteer Services Coordinator at Crossing Rivers Health. “Guests will also learn about Partners of Crossing Rivers Health and the role they play in bridging our communities with our hospital. These dedicated volunteers have made a difference by raising money to purchase hospital equipment and giving their time to make a difference to the people who come to the hospital and depend on the services we provide. We are always looking for dynamic individuals to join the team and this is a great way to mingle with our members and learn about the impact they have for our patients and our communities.”
