“We are all looking forward to warmer temperatures and planting this year’s flower gardens. Partners of Crossing Rivers Health remind area residents that they are conducting their annual Geranium and Hanging Basket Sale,” announces Shawna Atterbury, Volunteer Services Coordinator at Crossing Rivers Health. “Geraniums, spikes, asparagus ferns, and 14-inch hanging baskets of mixed colors are available. All proceeds from the sale support the mission of Partners to benefit the health and well-being of area communities.”

Order forms have been placed at several area businesses and at the concierge desk at Crossing Rivers Health. Orders are to be completed and submitted with payment by April 25. The plants will be available for pick up at the Maintenance Garage at Crossing Rivers Health on Thursday, May 11, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, May 12, from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

Jane O’Brien, Partners President, is helping coordinate the plant sale. She adds, “Partners play an important role in linking Crossing Rivers Health to our community. Volunteers staff the North Entrance volunteer desk, purchase equipment for the hospital, coordinate a healthcare scholarship program, provide newborn promotions, sponsor Christmas Right Here, and much more to promote healthcare and our hospital in our community. Please contact Shawna Atterbury at 608-357-2621 if you are willing to learn more about joining our volunteer team.”
