Peoples State Bank makes major gift to PdCMH Foundation

Peoples State Bank recently made a major gift to the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital Foundation toward the capital campaign, currently underway. People State Bank’s gift of $100,000 will help to fund the construction of a new state-of-the-art hospital which will serve the region of Southwest Wisconsin and Northeast Iowa.
Fred Huebsch, Foundation board president commended the bank for the great level of involvement and support they provide to the region. “As a locally owned bank, Peoples supports our communities at a truly extraordinary level. The Foundation board and I thank Peoples State Bank for their investment toward the new hospital project, which will have a great and lasting impact on our communities,” said Huebsch.
Peoples State Bank has contributed to numerous activities in the communities where the bank provides banking services, including scholarships for graduating high school seniors in eight different schools and funding for local food banks. The bank has also provided support for the local community colleges and area hospitals.
“Peoples State Bank is pleased to support the construction of the new hospital in Prairie du Chien,” stated Mark Forsythe, bank president. “The hospital will provide an excellent health care facility for the area and it will have a large impact on the local economy,” Forsythe added.
Many individuals and corporations have stepped forth to support the new hospital project, slated for completion in early 2015. The capital campaign offers opportunities for people to support the project at whatever level they may choose. Naming and recognition opportunities are still available. To-date the campaign has raised $1.2 million in capital gifts and pledges.
