Partners of Crossing Rivers Health have been busy stitching small teddy bears to give to children at a Teddy Bear Clinic planned at Crossing Rivers Health Clinic, Prairie du Chien. The special event will be held on Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of Crossing Rivers Health’s 1st Anniversary Celebration, commemorating the first anniversary opening of the new medical center.

The Teddy Bear Clinic will include the teddy bear patient receiving his/her first check-up with a Crossing Rivers Health Clinic medical provider. This event is a fun way for children to become comfortable and familiar with medical equipment and procedures. Many of the bears have been made from material donated by Terri Achenbach, Crossing Rivers Health Maintenance Department, as well as materials and time donated by generous Partners members.

Crossing Rivers Health’s 1st Anniversary Celebration also includes self-guided tours of the facility, Mighty Machines Heroes of Healthcare, Teddy Bear Clinic, free chair massages and blood pressure checks, health fair, a birthday party for all babies born at the medical center within the past year, gift shoppe and Home Medical Equipment Retail Store Open Houses and a picnic lunch at a minimal charge.
