Prairie du Chien, WI - During these times of uncertainty, Crossing Rivers Health is able to offer patients alternatives to in-person visits. A number of health and wellness needs can be managed through a virtual visit or phone call with a provider. These include new or chronic health issues, follow-up visits, medication refills, well-child checks, Medicare Wellness Visits, and managed care for nursing home residents.
The following Crossing Rivers Health services are currently offered via telehealth, to new and established patients:
- Behavioral health
- Primary care clinics
- Dietitian services
- Sleep medicine
- Palliative care
- Wellness coaching
Patients are able to choose from a number of telehealth options that work best for them. Depending upon the type of visit and the patient’s access to a computer or smart device, options include real-time audio-visual software and telephone appointments. Instructions will be given at the time the appointment is made.
“We continue to do what is necessary to keep our patients healthy and safe during these uncertain times,” said Maria Mathis, Director of the Crossing Rivers Health Clinics. “We want to be here as a resource and will guide new and existing patients through every step of the telehealth visit process.” For information related to COVID-19 related resources, please visit www.crossingrivers.org.
