What’s New in Child Care Licensing?

Hospital news | Monday, September 16, 2019

Prairie du Chien, WI – Crossing Rivers Health Child Care is collaborating with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to review upcoming daycare licensing changes in a program titled, “What’s New in Child Care Licensing?” taking place at Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center on Tuesday, September 24 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

“There have been a lot of changes in licensing lately, especially with background checks and fingerprinting,” explained Mari Beth Valley, Crossing Rivers Health Child Care Center Director. “There are also additional updates that child care providers need to be aware of, so we decided to host this free program to ensure the providers in our area have the most current information to be compliant with the Department of Children and Families rules and regulations. We encourage all licensed providers, certified providers, and child care center staff to attend.”

This program is free to attend and will qualify for two hours of continuing education. Light refreshments will also be served. Interested individuals can register at crossingrivers.org/licensing.
