Youth volunteers help Santa answer letters

Hospital news | Tuesday, November 20, 2012

The holiday season is especially busy for Santa and his elves, and sometimes Santa doesn’t have time to answer all the letters that he has received from children around the world. And that’s where members of the Youth Leadership Committee of C.A.R.E. (Crawford Abuse Resistance Effort) of Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital have helped the jolly old elf for the past several years gathering together to answer those very important letters.

Letters to Santa may be dropped off through Friday, December 14, in Santa’s mailbox in the lobby of the Prairie du Chien Post Office or in the lobby at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. Letters will be answered and mailed to the child’s home – be sure to include a legible return address. No postage is required for these special letters.

Parents are reminded that Santa’s younger elves are helping answer the children’s letters, and they are encouraged to review them before reading Santa’s message. If you have any questions, please contact the North Pole Satellite Office in Prairie du Chien at C.A.R.E. 608-357-2083, a community-based service of Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.
