Biography
Married to my wife, Lisa, for 19 years and we have 3 children, Christopher (17), Caleb (15), and Caralyn (9).
My first experience in health care was as a research assistant at UW-Milwaukee in the Human Movement Sciences Lab. After graduation in 2004, I was employed at Mercyhealth, working outreach at Beloit College as an athletic trainer. I continued there until 2017 when I transferred to the Mercyhealth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic to work with the Sports Medicine and Orthopedics team. In 2018, I returned to academia and started the PA program at UW-Madison. I continued to work while in school as an athletic trainer until 2020 when I started my clinical rotations. I graduated in May of 2021 and began my practice as a PA here in August of 2021.
I feel that medicine is not about telling patients what is "best for them". I think the most important part of medicine is listening to my patient's goals and help them find their best quality of life together. Medicine should be a partnership between provider and patient with investment from both.
