Medical Imaging is the key to diagnosis and treatment for most patients, whether they suffer from heart disease, trauma, stroke or any of hundreds of other conditions.
State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging technology is installed in the Medical Imaging department at the Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center.
Many imaging exams are able to be performed in the same room where care is being provided, greatly enhancing the inpatient experience.
Some of the services available for in-patient and out-patients are:
-
3D™ mammography
-
4D ultrasound
-
Bone density testing
-
CT scan
-
Coronary Computed Tomography (CT) Angiography

-
Nuclear medicine
-
Fluoroscopy is often used to diagnose conditions of the upper gastrointestinal tract, lower gastrointestinal tract and esophagus. This can also be used to assist the provider with joint injections.
