Athletic trainers are health care professionals who collaborate with physicians working toward the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergency, acute and chronic medical conditions and injuries.
Athletic Training Team
Mark Seeley and Penny Grassel bring more than 60 years of professional experience and expertise to Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center and the surrounding communities. They have experience working with patients and athletes in hospitals, sports medicine clinics, colleges, universities and high schools.

Our athletic trainers provide outpatient evaluation and rehabilitation to physically active patients in our rehabilitation services department.
We provide athletic training services to Prairie du Chien, River Ridge, Boscobel, and Wauzeka high schools. These services include scheduled visits to the schools and athletic training care at athletic events.
Crossing Rivers Health Medical Center has partnered with the school districts to provide neurocognitive assessments using ImPACT concussion management program.
Our athletic trainers' knowledge and experience make them a perfect resource for your professional educational needs.
Previous presentations include ACL injury prevention, choosing proper footwear, nutrition, coaching in-services, core strengthening, dynamic warm-up, emergency care and spine boarding of athletes, CPR and first aid, and corporate and school wellness events.
