Car Seat Safety Check On Friday, May 10
Installing a car seat may seem simple; however, Safe Kids Worldwide estimates that more than half of car seats are not used or installed correctly. That puts millions of kids in danger while they are on the road.
Crossing Rivers Health is partnering with In the Beginning Child Care and Learning Center to offer free on-site checks on Friday, May 10 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. The safety check will be held at 403 E. Cass St., Prairie du Chien, WI. Drop-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.
The Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians team includes Ashley Baumeister, RN, Jodi Dressler, CMA, Hazen Keller, RN, Samantha Martin, Social Worker, and Sonya Lenzendorf, Health Officer. The event will share insights and resources specifically tailored for daycare families.
“Our goal is to teach you how to correctly install your child's car seat and feel comfortable reinstalling and using it on your own,” stated Hazen Keller, RN at Crossing Rivers Health.
