Car Seat Safety Check Program Now Offered at Crossing Rivers Health
Installing a car seat may seem simple; however, Safe Kids Worldwide estimates that more than half of car seats are not used or installed correctly. That puts millions of kids in danger while they are on the road.
Crossing Rivers Health offers free car seat safety checks to help you protect your precious cargo. The goal of the Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) is to educate caregivers on best practices for the safe transportation of children and the proper use of car seats, booster seats, seat belts and vehicle safety systems.
“Our goal is to teach you how to correctly install your child's car seat and feel comfortable reinstalling and using it on your own,” stated Hazen Keller, RN at Crossing Rivers Health.
