Crossing Rivers Health Welcomes Family Practice Provider Specializing in Obstetrics to Primary Care Clinic Team
Crossing Rivers Health Clinic in Prairie du Chien proudly announces the addition of a primary care provider, specializing in obstetrics to their primary care clinic team. “We are so excited to welcome Paulo Michelini, Board-Certified Doctor of Medicine, to our team,” said Maria Mathis, Clinic Director. “He brings valuable experience in Obstetrics and Primary Care to our clinic. His addition to our team demonstrates our continued commitment to our Obstetrics program,” Mathis explained.
Dr. Michelini provides care for patients of all ages, with a deep passion for serving individuals, families, and entire communities through primary care. "I love taking care of people," he shares. "The primary care setting allows me to not only care for individuals but also for whole families and communities."
While specializing in Obstetrics, Dr. Michelini also offers comprehensive primary care. “Many of the children I’ve delivered have returned to me as their pediatrician. I love being able to see the family grow while seeing the woman, the child, or children after that and ultimately I end up seeing the father and the grandparents,” he says.
Paulo Michelini, MD, holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois. He earned a BA from Illinois Wesleyan University and a graduate degree from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Michelini completed his Family and Community Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois Peoria and pursued advanced training through the Camellia Foundation, completing a Surgical Family Medicine Obstetrics and Point-of-Care Ultrasound Fellowship.
